I have just signed a contract with Ace Book to write an eighth Wayson Harris novel. I can't go into the plot at all, not without giving away twists from The Clone Redemption, which comes out in October.
Harris series is extremely entertaining. Haven't had this much fun in 40 years. Read Republic and bought all the Clone ones I saw - ending with The Clone Empire.
But there are only 6, yet you said 8th? Is there a 7 I'm missing?

wow thats a nice deal you got their and the 7th book isnt even out yet cant wait for both, but i have to say that the title to the 8th book is misleading seeing as how the clones have already left the republic but hey what do i know i havent even read the 7th book to give any ideas for the 8th so all i can say is to wait for it. and a freeman graphic novel does sound very nice it could start with him as a kid leaving and learning how to be super bad ass because im assuming that he was taught by someone to be who he was today. unless he was born to be a 7 foot super killer with not humor unless its one he can understand
off topic, but wait, what's this about a Freeman graphic novel? Is that really happening or was Amer just saying it would be cool to have one? Looking forward to next October!

Hooray! I've enjoyed the Harris book immensely and couldn't be more pleased that there will be another one.
Thanks, Shaz.
More work from you is always appreciated.
Kudos to Ace for recognizing that fact.
Any word on your horror project? That still progressing?
I have a very short deadline on The Clone Sedition. For now, Santo Sangre is on haitus.
Thank you very much for asking.
Squeeeee!!!!!!
That's great news. Is The Clone Sedition the working title?
I think that is the title that will stick.
I think Harris would translate great into graphic novels. Just random thought.
I've always thought Freeman was the one who loaned himself best to the colored page.
Oh wow that just made my day.
I know this is jumping the gun a lot, do you have any guess as to when this book will be out?
Yes, I think I do. They had me agree to a very, very tight deadline. I think you may actually see the book in October 2012.
not sure why they dont give u a multi-book deal but im happy you gonna keep putting them out.
I was offered a multi-book deal, but opted to discuss other possibilities for the additional books.

Amer, he was born 7 feet tall... pity his poor mother!
THAT. IS. AWESOME. Very glad to hear about 'Sedition'. I've just started 'Redemption' and I'm having a blast! Keep up the fine work.
Thanks MDF

A future project to get to one day; but I think I will need to sell more books to attract a Dark Horse type publisher.
