Okay, Aaron and Nick, I can hear you guys groaning from here, but give Warrior a chance. Yeah, yeah, It's Rocky for the turn-of-the-century generation, I admit it. But Rocky was great in its day. That's why people still talk about the movie.
Warrior is a movie filled with great violence and sympathetic characters. It is a movie filled with a million cliche's, all unveiled with so much energetic vitality that it sweeps you in.
And here is a shock for those of you who have seen it--those two Pennsylvania brothers with their Rocky Balboa accents--one is from England and the other is from Australia.
The action in this movie takes a while to get going, but when it arrives, it takes your breath away.

Haven't seen it. I do say that the British and Australians can pull off a convincing American accent much better than we can do the reverse.
Drawing from the way, way, way back files, I remember when they made the movie Out of Africa. Robert Redford was supposed to play a Brit. They finally rewrote the part to let him be an American. Wanna take three guesses why?
1) Poor accent
2) Bad accent
3) Horrible accent
Add selections 1. 2, and 3 together and you have Redford down.
Yikes!
Take it back or I'm sending one of these guys to your house!
